Coventry F1 1986: The first part of this DVD features two chaotic heats. This is stock car racing - many would say - as it should be. The tempo is set immediately with a first corner crash in which Alan Finnikin (borrowing Bert's car while Bert is on holiday!!!) rips out his front axle. No yellows. The following corner Murray Harrison and Neil Pokorny take each other to the fence. No yellows. A superb race then develops between Stu Smith and John Thorpe, with a typical last corner suprise!

The full Coventry meeting sees more chaos, often created by the marker tyres. Take a look at the Consolation from this meeting by downloading it on the left. The meeting contains footage of past masters of BriSCA F1 such as Stu Smith, Willie Harrison, Mike Close and Dave Mellor. The final sees a rare yellow flag as Les Mitchell rolls (it's on the racing line, so there had to be a yellow!), and some great racing through the field between the likes of Mick Noden and Nigel Hardy, and Frankie Wainman and Dan Clarke.

Skegness F1 and F2 1985: The first half of the meeting only.  A very greasy track provides lots of action in both F1 and F2 for this early season meeting. Great F2 racing from the likes of Mike James,  Roy Goodman and Ian King, and from F1 drivers such as Harry Smith, Graham Blundell and Gerald Taylor in the F1 Skoal Bandit.

The DVD runs for 1 hour 55 minutes and costs just £6...

Quality: These DVDs have been sourced from VHS tapes of an analogue cable television channel which are around 20 years old. The picture and sound quality is as good as possible, given this. There are no major tracking problems. Any issues concerning quality or incomplete programmes will be made clear in the 'QUALITY ISSUES HIGHLIGHT' section above.

Copyright: I have contacted the last known copyright holders of this material a number of times by email and in writing to explore making the whole library available from master tapes. There has been no reply as yet. I would love to see the whole library (1984 to 1987) made available, but it seems unlikely at this time.
