1987 Euro Cup Meeting at Northampton. Non-stop action throughout the entire meeting, lots of hard bumperwork and lots of damage! Plenty of Dutch drivers were present for John Lund's first ever meeting as World Champion... Koos Peeters and Matt De La Roy almost bounce a stuck Bobby Burns over the fence in the final. Meanwhile, Freidhelm Welters looked to be in with a chance of victory in the final, closing in on long time leader Danny Clarke with 5 laps to go. A certain silver car then seems to come from nowhere! 1987 F1 meeting from
Long Eaton. Some
excellent and hectic
racing from a sadly missed F1 venue. Seeing four F1s abreast down the
home
straight race after race is still as spectacular as ever. Very close
and competitive
racing from the likes of Nigel Whorton, Bert Finnikin and Frankie
Wainman all
through the meeting.
1984 F1 from Baarlo. Two races from Baarlo, including Andy Stott demolishing flagpoles with style! The picture quality of these races is not as good as the previous meetings, but is still very watchable. You can see this on the last picture below. However, I thought it was worth putting these races on the DVD - hope you agree! Also includes a Special Bonus Feature... The DVD runs for 1 hour 50 minutes and costs just £6... |

These DVDs have been sourced from VHS tapes of an analogue cable
television
channel which are around 20 years old. The picture and sound quality is
as good
as possible, given this. There are no major tracking problems. Any
issues
concerning quality or incomplete programmes will be made clear in the
'QUALITY ISSUES HIGHLIGHT'
section above. Copyright: I have contacted the last known copyright holders of this material a number of times by email and in writing to explore making the whole library available from master tapes. There has been no reply as yet. I would love to see the whole library (1984 to 1987) made available, but it seems unlikely at this time.
