1984 F2 World Final from Newtongrange. Coverage of a Heat, Consolation, meeting Final and the World Final from the long gone, but not forgotten Newtongrange oval. All the racing here confirms Newtongrange's reputation as an all action and often bruising track. Apart from the World Final itself which shows the wire and post fence claiming many victims, the Consolation is a superb race with a massive pile up and Russell Taylor taking out Stu Smith in one of his rare F2 appearances! Also includes a good interview with the new World Champion, Malcolm Locke.

1985 F2 World Final race from Bristol. Unfortunately this is taken from the Screensport 1985 Review, and, for reasons only known to them, does not include the last few laps! However, what is shown is action all the way with cars trying to go over or through the fence at every opportunity! Malcolm Locke's second successive World Championship looked to be out of the question as Jimmy Moodie led the majority of the race and a first Scottish World Final victory seemed to be on the cards... Until the yellow flags closed up the field...

1987 F1 and F2 from Skegness.
Full F1 'Screensport Superstars' Meeting and F2 Final and Grand National. This is the Sunday meeting from the Speedweekend which held the 87 F2 World Final on the Saturday. Excellent action from both F1s and F2s around the original Skeggy tarmac...

The DVD runs for 1 hour 50 minutes and costs just £6...

Quality: These DVDs have been sourced from VHS tapes of an analogue cable television channel which are around 20 years old. The picture and sound quality is as good as possible, given this. There are no major tracking problems. Any issues concerning quality or incomplete programmes will be made clear in the 'QUALITY ISSUES HIGHLIGHT' section above.

Copyright: I have contacted the last known copyright holders of this material a number of times by email and in writing to explore making the whole library available from master tapes. There has been no reply as yet. I would love to see the whole library (1984 to 1987) made available, but it seems unlikely at this time.
